Current Employee - Vice President says

"No future if you’re a woman. They just terminated all of the women at the two highest levels of management. I have to wonder how far down the ladder this will go. I’m saddened and frightened by what has happened here in less than a year."

Former Employee - Table Games Dealer says

"You are a number, not a person. Management has favorites and every one else is despensible."

Former Employee - Vice President says

"No loyalty to employees, very low pay scale"

Former Employee - Regional Marketing Specialist says

"Everything else. Horrible culture, poor working conditions, profit over people attitude, using your health against you. Telling you that you have an open forum and then using those words against you. Toxic environment all the way"

Current Employee - Supervisor says

"Too many to list. Leadership would be the main one. A very hostile work environment from the Director all the way down. If they don’t like you or consider you to be on their side they will fire you. No questions asked. A very disciplinarian work culture. It’s an awful work environment fostered by the Director. One example is their constant write ups of employees for getting injured, accidental or not. First time I have ever seen this. Managers are very clique-centric. Very lazy and don’t take responsibility or anything. They would rather let their subordinates take the fall. You will also have to clean rooms as if you are a Housekeeper often during busy times, which not allowed per the Union which the Housekeepers are apart of. Human Resources is also not an actual resource and won’t do anything to help so please do yourself a favor and skip this if you can."

EVS (Current Employee) says

"No love or care for employees even in the midst of a pandemic...management doesn't care...just a overall horrible experience and situation to be on at the moment"

Housekeeping Clerk (Current Employee) says

"I was so excited to become an employee of Harrah’s casino, unfortunately I ended up very disappointed. The company as a whole is fantastic, the benefits are the best I have ever seen offered. I liked my job, but they were killing me with the hours they expected me to work. I had to work 12 hours a day and some days even 13! When I was interviewed I was told I would work the swing shift coming in at 12 or 1pm until 8:30 or 9:30 which is what I wanted. Did not happen. I ended up coming in at 6:30am and leaving at 7:30, 8:00pm. No one could tell me when this would end. I just couldn’t take it. So I ended up quitting. Oh my job was a Housekeeping Clerk, should have been called Housekeeping Coordinator for all I did. And the pay was only $10.50 per hourGreat benefitsToo many hours per week and lousy pay"

Housekeeper (Former Employee) says

"I didn't work here long but it didn't take me long to realize how nepotistic the hotel management is. There is no room for growth or raises because they are handed out to favorites and brown nosers. It's a cutthroat environment and people will steal your belongings and talk about you behind your back. I was told stories of people who suffered because of the poor management and how they sit back and watch as Rome burns like Nero did. They have a high turnover rate because they cannot keep actual good workers who show promise and work hard. They get rid of them because they don't like them or they end up firing them to "save the company". Workers who don't even finish their rooms or tasks are able to go a whole week on vacation even though they just started, are allowed to leave early because they don't want to work, and are still given the promotions and recognition while the morale of everyone else is shot down. Get rid of the General Manager and it would become a more productive department. Only positive thing about this place was the flexibility involved. Flexibility, 2$ lunchNepotism, cutthroat culture, cultural appropriation, no room for advancement, favoritism"

Assistant Manager (Former Employee) says

"Working at the flamingo casino was, by far, the worst job experience I have ever had. The managers are incompetent and unprofessional and there is no room for advancement. They do not respect the employees and are write up happy with their discipline. The facility is rundown and disgusting, and they do not follow policies and procedures except when they want to get rid of someone. you take a big risk accepting a job at the flamingo, because eventually they will try to get rid of youNothingDisrespect, incompetent managers, disgusting facility"

Porter (Former Employee) says

"Poor poor palace what else dirty don’t care about they’re what else some things just not right there the union is not hitting on they should help they employees"

High Limit Casino Dealer (Former Employee) says

"The management had alot of turn over. They were very disrespectful the the employees that were below them title wise. When employees had family emergencies, management told that person to "leave it at the door" and that there was nothing he could do. So go back to work. I personally had a shift manager threaten me about my regular higher roller customers telling the high rollers"

Customer Service Director/Casino Marketing (Former Employee) says

"Caesars Palace is a churn and burn organization It’s run like the mafia. It’s a good old boy network, tight knit, where only white men excel and are given preferential treatment."

Front Desk Representative (Former Employee) says

"Put a ton of dedication in my job and when a simple mistake is made they throw you away like trash. Manager was a drunk and if you weren't his ideal of hot or whatever he treated you like dirt!!"

Casino Call Service Agent (Former Employee) says

"If you want to throw your life away, go for it. This has got to be the worst place to work in the entire Las Vegas Valley. You want to have a steady job, feel like a family rather than feel like a number or look forward to advancement? Well, it's not here, unless you can stick your entire nose way the 'fudge up' all of their ugly a holes. You're better off cleaning up from underneath toilets for donations then work here. move on... carry on"

Table Games Shift Floor Supervisor (Former Employee) says

"Be ready to get surrounded by toxic people and the ugliness of casino culture. Over in time it gets harder. The wealthier the customers, the more valuable they are over the own company's employee staff. Not an easy career."

Server (Former Employee) says

"When you go to HR to explain that bullying is going on in the company and nothing is done about it you tend to look elsewhere for employment due to an uncomfortable work environment."

Chef (Former Employee) says

"Human feces and urine literally comes out from the dairy walk in fridge during rainy season and floods the back of the kitchen. The kitchen in this place are filthy. So much politics in these place. Useless, clueless and lazy managers. Very disorganized place, no system at all. These people will use you for their own benefit and dump you when they're done with you. They don't really care about staff, everyone are just numbers that can be replaced anytime. Too many allegations being invented by useless lazy managers that can't even speak and write English properly."

Security Supervisor (Former Employee) says

"Everything and anything is about the bottom dollar... making the company money. You literally have to bend over for players and management for pennies. I will never work in a casino again, takes the life out of you.NoneEverything"

Employee (Former Employee) says

"They are not the caring culture they portray themselves to be. It's all about the upper management.. and making their bonuses. It's not about the people that are working for them. They can care less.."

Security Officer (Former Employee) says

"This place was the worst. Once management switched the job was more of a burden walking on eggs shells. The policy in place is not designed for a working person with a family."

Table Games Dealer (Current Employee) says

"Not a positive work environment. Dealers are minimum wage. Never see family for holidays and weekends No true support from upper management. Players get away with abusive behaviour and it is handled by blind eyes. A few good supervisors . Quality of training lits of inefficiencies."

Poker Dealer (Former Employee) says

"They’re dishonest and does a lot of dirty business. If you work there you ll never be happy and they rob your tourney tokes you will never realize it at all. Food cafe is horribleNothing is prosEverything"

Centralized Scheduling Planner (Current Employee) says

"Nearly every promise or “perk” of the job that I was told in the interview was a flat lie. They do NOT train new hires for back of house. The person tasked with training me couldn’t be bothered because she needed the face time that certain events or non-department specific events were opportunities for her to be seen. So rather than train me, she would say “put a calendar reminder” so we can pick this up later, which would never happen.NoneToo many"

Count Room Lead (Former Employee) says

"Poor pay scale hard to move up and there is zero job security currently at all casinos due to buy out hr department is not available or very limited all departments are short staffed and not hiring.6 weeks of paid time off after 6 years, paid lunch breakspoor pay, bad benefits, poor management"

Cashier (Former Employee) says

"Hated working here. Horrible management. The hours were terrible and after 6 months they promised me I could switch shifts but they never followed through with that."
